The Vice-Deanship of University Studies for Girls in Al-Mansour organized the activities of the Tabsir (enlightenment) campaign, which aims to disseminate awareness and introduce the UQU's regulations to the female students. The campaign was held under the supervision of the Head of the Student Support Unit, Dr. Afnan Qady, on Monday 27 Safar, 1440 A.H., at the theater hall and its outside yard, at the headquarters of the deanship in Al-Mansour.
The event started with a speech welcoming the attendees, then recitations of verses of the Qur'an, followed by a speech delivered by the Vice Dean of the Deanship of University Studies at Al-Mansour Headquarters, Dr. Samira bint Ahmad Al-Abdaly Al-Fify. After that, the Vice Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Support, Dr. Mona bint Muhammad Hijjy, delivered a speech. The speeches were followed by a dramatic scene prepared by the Department of Fashion Design under the title "Problems we have solved", then a contest entitled "What are my rights and duties?", which was prepared by the Vice Deanship of the College of Designs for Educational Affairs.
This was followed by an activity prepared by the Department of Housing and Home Management entitled "Tabsir Balloon", in which balloons were distributed. Moreover, some songs were chanted, and activities entitled "My Identity Card" and "What would happen if...?", were presented by the Student Support Unit. These activities aim to activate the awareness and educational programs in order to disseminate awareness among the female students, and to introduce the UQU regulations to the students under the slogan "Tabsir".
In this context, the Head of the Student Support Unit outlined Tabsir (enlightenment) on many topics, which included the rights, duties, and regulations pertaining to the UQU female students.
