Under the supervision of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, the Jamoum University College, represented by the University Vice-Presidency for Development and Business Entrepreneurship, held a training course for the students of the college entitled 'The Use of E-Learning Portal.' The course was given by Mr. `Amir Al-Jizawy on Wednesday 15 Safar, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 24 October, 2018 A.D. The course was held in coordination with the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education. The course defined the concept of E-Learning; identified the environments and tools of E-Learning; reviewed E-Learning process models; introduced the E-Learning Portal (Ta`allum), its most important tools, and the facilities it offers for students; and reviewed the contents of the E-Learning system home page.

After completing the theoretical aspects, the trainer explained how to access the E-Learning Portal and the educational course. He also discussed the various tools used by students when dealing with the E-Learning platform, most importantly the content tool and the delivery folder tool, along with discussions and grading section.
