Under the supervision of His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Mutairi, Dean of e-Learning and Distance Education, and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Yasser Al-Hazmi, Vice Dean of e-Learning and Distance Education for Academic Development and Community Service, the closing ceremony of the first version of the Certified Trainer Program was held, on Thursday morning, Safar 2, 1440 AH, corresponding to October 11, 2018.

It is worth noting that the Certified Trainer Program was launched by the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education, with the aim of representing the Deanship with all educational institutes and colleges. This is in addition to facilitating the process of effective communication between the Deanship of e-Learning and the faculty members and students at colleges and departments. The duties of the certified trainer are conducting training courses at his college; organizing the meetings of the Deanship’s trainers with the faculty members at his college; encouraging the processes of activating the e-learning system. This is along with raising awareness via communication channels and the various mass media. A certified trainer also works on encouraging faculty members to engage in the programs of the Deanship, as well as increasing the positive communication of faculty members with one another and with the Deanship, in order to create an effective work environment.

Through this meeting, the first version of the program was evaluated and participants were honored. Moreover, they were informed of the tasks entrusted to them as ambassadors of the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education at their colleges, and they were given certificates of participation. Furthermore, the cadres of the Deanship, who watched over the implementation of this program and the trainers who participated in it, were honored. And it was announced that work on launching the second version of the program is in progress.
