The Girls Section at the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education announced a training workshop for faculty members, titled “Virtual Reality” on Wednesday 16 Sha’ban 1439AH, corresponding with 2 May 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the deanship’s lab in Al-Zahir. The workshop was delivered by Ms. Sarah Al-Hasan.
At the start of the workshop, the trainer said that enhanced reality in education will have a great impact that results in noticeable changes in the traditional learning process. She pointed out that virtual reality has the ability to change the location and timing of study, allowing new and additional methods that make teaching more attractive and information more understandable. Teachers will also have room for more creativity and interaction. The trainer then explained the various applications of this technology in the educational process and how this can benefit everyone involved in the process.
