Ms. Areej Banjar from the girls section has presented a domestic training course on educational design to the staff of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education at the girls section in Al-Zahir. The staff of the deanship at the boys section in Al-Abideya took part in the course through TV broadcasting. This took place on Thursday 10 Sha’ban 1439AH, corresponding with April 26 2018.
The trainer addressed the importance of educational design to turn traditional courses into e-courses. She also discussed the positive sides of utilizing learning goals in the system. She also discussed the elements and components of sufficiencies. It was stressed that the role of educational design must be preceded by basics in order to introduce trainees to determine the general objectives and connect each objective to the behavioral goals.
In the scientific side, Ms. Areej explained how to access the educational processor and accelerator on the e-learning system after accessing the curriculum. She also explained how curricula are divided into modules, as well as the description of objectives and following all the steps required by the system.
The course was met positively by participants, especially that there was great interaction from the side of the trainers at the boys section. Moreover, points of view were exchanged on the ways and methods adopted in dealing with trainees.
