Within the framework of diversifying its training programs for faculty members and in order to give them the skills of using the modern educational methods and technical equipment provided by the Media and Educational Technologies Center, the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education held a training course on the use of interactive board U-Board, which was presented by Mr. Yamen Al-Abwaini and Dr. Munzer Al-Hamzawi at King Abdullah Library’s e-learning lab in Al-Abadiya on Sunday, 25March 2018, corresponding to 8 Ragab 1439 AH.

The interactive board or portable board can be considered as the latest developments in the education technology, and as part of the teaching aids. It relies on Bluetooth technology to use the wall or any board as a computer. Also, it enables the opposite use; as it allows displaying what the computer screen contains on the wall or the regular board. This board is small and easy to move from one place to another; whereas its size is like a small book, and does not require any equipment. It contributes directly to enriching the scientific material through the addition of special dimensions and indicators that help expand the learner's experiences and facilitate the building of concepts for presenting the material in exciting and attractive ways.
