As part of the keenness on implementing the development project of 50 electronic courses with the supervision and regulation of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, a training workshop was held, titled:  Introduction to the Development of Electronic Courses, presented by Dr. Mohamed Shaltout, on Thursday, 29 Jumada Al-Oula 1439AH corresponding with 15 February 2018, at the e-learning lab at King Abdullah Library at the University Campus in Al-Abideyah.

The workshop, which was attended by a number of faculty members, aims to introduce the trainees to e-courses and e-learning strategies were. It was an opportunity during which Dr. Hassan Al-Sabbagh, head of the Digital Production Department, presented to the attendees the procedures and mechanisms of developing courses within the E-learning and Distance Education Deanship,  as well as the role assigned to faculty members to help make this concept successful.

During his supervision of the events of the workshop, Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi, the Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education, thanked Dr. Bakri bin Matouq Assass for his support to this great development project. He also thanked the Vice-President of UQU for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Saruji, for his keenness on the success of the programs of the Deanship.
