A mutual working session was held between Mr. Mohamed Al-Harethi, the General Director of Education in Makkah, and the Dean of the UQU Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education. The meeting was held on Monday, Rabi’ I 30, 1439H, corresponding to December 18, 2017.

The meeting tackled the means of mutual cooperation between the General Department of Education in Makkah and Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) in the fields of digital education and enhancing the educational outcomes. It is worth noting that the first stage of the training courses in the framework of the developmental program for the affiliates of General Department of Public Education in Makkah is about to end, after giving the Flipped Classroom courses and the Educational Web Applications course during the coming two weeks. The digital education workshop will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 10:00 am, at Al-Zahir Female Campus and Al-Abediya Male Campus, at the same time.

The Dean of the UQU Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education thanked Dr. Bakri Assas, the UQU President, for being keen on making the university open on the outside world and the community service. He also thanked Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Rashad Srougy, the Vice President for the Educational Affairs, for his Support for all the deanship’s activities. Thanks were also given to Mr. Mohamed Al-Harethi, the General Director of Education in Makkah for hosting the meeting and being keen on developing the mutual cooperation between the two sides.
