The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education participated in the awareness campaign titled, “Misuse of Antibiotics and Awareness of Headache, Chronic Disease of Century.” “Use It Correctly!” was the slogan of the campaign which was organized by the Pharmacy and Innovation Clubs in Umm Al-Qura University (UQU).

In this context, the Deanship participated in the event with a male-student delegation. It comprised Dr. Yasser Al-Hazemy (Vice-Dean of the Deanship for Academic Development and Community Service), Eng. Ahmad Youssry and Prof. Waleed Ali. Moreover, a Female-student delegation participated in the event with the leadership of Dr. Hanaa Yamany, Vice-Dean of the Deanship.

Within the same vein, the Deanship’s Corner witnessed the attendance of Sisters Amjad Abdullah Al-Bishy, Amjad Ahmad Madkhaly and Layal Yahia Ba-Yunus on Thursday, as well as Shofouq Fahd Al-Zahrany and Shahd Yusuf Al-Harby on Friday.

The two-day campaign, which was held at Al Diyafa Mall in Makkah, was finalized in the evening of Friday, 15^th December 2017. During the event, the Corner of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education was one of the technical corners that captured the participants' attention. In other words, it included the latest presentation technologies that explained the scientific matter of antibiotics and raised awareness of headache among society. This was via recent digital applications such as Augmented Reality.
