In the framework of the development program’s first stage for the General Department of Education’s affiliates in Makkah; two training courses on the educational applications were organized on Tuesday 12 December 2017, corresponding to 24 Rabi' Al-awwal 1439 AH, at the boys section in parallel to the girls section. Dr. Adel Belsadeq and Dr. Usama Al-Jarari ran the courses at the boys section, and Ms. Seeta bint Abdullah ran the girls’ ones.

Noteworthy, the development program, prepared in cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) and the General Department of Education in Makkah, includes three training courses in its first stage, and it is offered at the boys and girls sections together by m/f trainers belong to the E-Learning and Distance Learning Deanship. Both of the flipped classroom course and educational application course were offered, while the third course, which is on smart learning, will be offered next Tuesday.

The program is supervised by Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi, dean of the E-Learning Deanship, along with Dr. Soltan Al-Mutairi, Dr. Yasser Al-Hazemi and Dr. Ahmed Hamid, vice-deans; in addition to Dr. Hana’a Yamani, vice-dean at the girls section.
