On Monday, Safar 10, 1439H, the female students of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance participated with the college's Activities Committee in a breast cancer awareness initiative launched under the theme: "Together we will live your life". The student started the activity by making human formations for the campaign's logo in the outdoor patios of Bld. B. Then, they went in a tour with the Vice-dean of the college through the UQU facilities, disseminating flowers and breast-cancer-related health-awareness-raising flyers, passing by the Deanship of University Studies for Girls, the different departments of the university, till they got to the college's premises at Bld. C.

A special corner was prepared for the activities with the disease prevention awareness brochures. After that, a video on the disease and its prevention ways was screened. Additionally, anti-oxidant foods were distributed on the visitors, with an explanation for their benefits. Noteworthy, the college has hosted a number of female students from the UQU College of Medicine to give a detailed explanation for the disease, and the ways of prevention and examination.

Moreover, the corner was visited by several vice-deans, heads and assistant heads of departments, as well as students, from various UQU colleges. Visitors wrote thanks phrases to Dr. Amal bint Amr Khairo Sanedi, Vice Dean of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance, for showing colossal interest in supporting the college and the students. For her part, Dr. Sanedi thanked the supervisors on organizing the activity: Ms. Emtenan Al Sahybani, Ms. Yasmina Al Jouhany, Ms. Mona Al Sharif and Ms. Badriya Awad.
