Under the auspices of the Dean of Preparatory Year, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, and the supervision of the Vice-dean of Preparatory Year for Medical Studies - Female students' branch in Abbideyah, Dr. Azza Mohamed Banouna, the preparatory year medical students celebrated the 87th Saudi National Day, which instills and reinforces citizenship and loyalty values into students.

The ceremony, in which all faculty members, medical students and deanship staff took part, featured a number of events commemorating the Saudi National Day, including interactive shows and gallery of paintings.

Al-Ghamdi expressed appreciation for the UQU President, Dr. Bakri Matouq Assas, an the Vice-president of Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Srouji, for their continuous support to the Deanship of Preparatory Year, pointing out to the importance of the event in boosting patriotic sense.
