Under the auspices of the Dean of Preparatory Year, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, and the supervision of the Vice-dean of Preparatory Year for Medical Studies - Female students' branch in Abbideyah, Dr. Azza Mohamed Banouna, the medical studies faculty members organized an orientation session for new students to provide them with information about the units that offer student services, including: Educational Affairs Unit, Security and Safety Unit, Academic Guidance Unit, etc. Students were also made aware of their rights and duties to help them achieve excellence.
It's worth mentioning that the session witnessed active engagement of students, who amounted to 500 female students. The event came as a result of partnership and coordination among the deanship's departments and units, which boosts communication, academic relations and team spirit within the deanship.
Al-Ghamdi expressed appreciation for the UQU President, Dr. Bakri Matouq Assas, and the Vice-president of Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Srouji, lauding their continuous support to the Deanship of Preparatory Year. He reiterated that without their support, such events wouldn't turn out to be complete success for students.
