- A- Establishment: The center was established on 20/05/1403 AH under the name of "The Evening Center for Postgraduate Islamic Studies" in response to non-Shari`ah graduates who wish to continue postgraduate studies after hours. Later, the university council issued its Decision No. 9 in its eighth session held on 14/12/1417 AH to change the name of the center into the "Islamic Studies Center". The center, which is currently limited to male students, grants general diplomas and masters' degrees in Islamic studies.
