Prof. Ahmed Nahhas has published more than 30 Articles and books , and reviewed several articles for deferent academic Journals
Professor Nahhas’s research has been centered on developing new photonic and electronic devices at micro and nanoscales using
 various functional materials such as rare-earth doped oxides, wide bandgap semiconductors. 
His research in nanotechnology area investigates ZnO (Zinc Oxide) and GaN (Gallium Nitride) Wide Band Gap Semiconductors Based Devices
