MODERN THERAPEUTIC METHODS AND BIOCHEMICAL INDICATORS FOR FOOT REHABILITATION

Abstract:

  The foot is the principal base for balance, its 'soundness is essential for movement, any injury may weakened individual balance. Ankle sprain is one of the most spreaded injuries of athletes.

The aim of the study is to know the effect of the therapeutic exercises and ozone of foot rehabilitation for ligament sprain of the (second degree by biomechanical analysis' using Foot Maxx, the range of movement of foot joint, foot diameter, biochemical  variables (Potassium, creatine Phosphokinase). The sample was composed of 8 football players, 16-22 Y.

The statistical protocol was Mann Whitney, percent change, the training program extended to 8 weeks, 4 therapeutic exercise bouts, 2 therapeutic ozone weekly.

The researchers reached the following: there was a significant change between the experimental group of training program only and the second one with ozone, in all the variables for the sake of the second group. The researchers recommended using of ozone in accordance with the therapeutic training, also to recognize the Potassium level as pain indicator and CPK as a marker for injury tissue heal.
