The Department of Biochemistry in the College of Medicine, Umm Al- Qura University, offers specialized medical biochemistry courses in the colleges of Medicine, Applied Medical Sciences and Pharmacy. It employs separate course plans where consultations were sought from specialists at Medicine colleges of some UK international universities, such as the universities of Edinburgh and Liverpool, as well as US universities such as Harvard, Yale and George Washington universities, etc.
