The evident excuses in interpreting
the verses of the Qur’an
Dr. Farid Mostafa Al Salman
Abstract
This research has been derived from my reading of interpretation books. I stopped at some significant issues in interpreting the verses; 1 stopped specially at the controversial points among the imams concerning the issues of judgments or in the ideological cases.
In these issues, we find an abundant knowledge because each Scholars expresses what he has got of the power of judgment and proof inferred from brain and transference.
In the ideological domain, we find the controversy between the people of the Sunnah and the Moutazilah concerning the fate, the sentence of the person who commits a sin, and the issue of the moon cracking providing accurate and complete evidence based on truth.
In the judgment domain, we find the issue of fighting in the sanctum, the difference between Hanafies, and Shafi'es in this issue, and the issue of the Muslim's killing of the unbeliever providing proofs by each group and their replies to the other group. We also find the judgment of animal endowment and the judgment of repetition after the imam while standing behind him in prayers.
We find in each issue of the issues mentioned above a complete method of scientific research and a clear way for each doctrine its inference concerning what it believes in and what it follows.

AI-Hafez Ibn Hajar’s References and his Opinions on the Readings Issues through his book Fath Al-Bari in explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari
Dr. Yahya Mohammed Zamzami
Abstract
All praise to Allah and may blessing and peace be upon his servant and apostle.
All Hadith scholars and interprets -God bless their souls- took a very good care in studying the types of readings of the Holy Quran and they put a great and grateful efforts. They narrated the Hadith with their reliable narrations and they solved contradictory issues and they used them as a proof to explain the meanings of Hadith and deduced general principles and preference of some narrations and similar issues.
This research is just a try to show the efforts of one of the Hadith scholars, and the explanator of the second most dependable book next to the Holy Quran . This scholar is Al-Hafez Ibn Hajar- God blessing his soul-(died in 852 AH). He is a real well known scholar of his deep knowledge and devotion in his studyings and writings. He studied the readings science and he had a reliable narration on it. His teacher was one of the best master readers Shaikh Burhan Al-ddin Al-Tanokhi. In addition, his explanation of Fath Al-Bari is one of the most explanatory and knowledgeably the richest rference. He mentioned all types of readings and used them in about four hundred positions in his book as far as I came across. He got these types of readings from a lot of references yet, printed, scripted and lost ones. He has valuable opinions and sayings in the readings issues. These could increase the knowledge and benefit specialists in this field of studying.
This research is just a first step in studying this scholar's efforts in serving the readings science. I gathered the references that he depended on in this field, I mostly validated the narrations he mentioned and 1 showed the advantages of his methods of narration . Then I mentioned what I came across of his opinions and ideas and draw the attention- through all this study- on some mistakes and corrections that he made concerning the types of readings and as far as I know that most researchers in this field have ignored the scholar's efforts in this issue. I did not come across any specialist who studied the types of readings in Fath Al-Bari. (And God knows all.)

The Holy Spirit in Christian Doctrine
(A critical study in light of religious sources)
Dr. Abdullah Al- Shu’aibi
Abstract
Praise be to God, The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds. God’s blessing and peace be upon his Apostle Mohammad.
The subject matter of this research is “the Holy Spirit in Christians’ Doctrine”. It contains a critical study demonstrating invalidity of Christians’ belief in the Holy Spirit’s divinity. This study is conducted in light of religious sources Christians believe in. They are the old and new testaments in which the fact of the Spirit; either it is added to God, to the Holy, or without an addition; does not indicate its divinity. It is the fact that is told in Allah’s book, which is revealed to the God’s Apostle Mohammad (God’s blessing and peace be upon him).
To demonstrate the invalidity of Christians’ belief concerning the Holy Spirit’s divinity, the research treated the fact of the Holy Spirit in the Divine Laws. Then the research goes further to highlight the stages through which Christians approve its divinity, and later the stage they start to believe in its divinity. The research also demonstrate the invalidity of their belief that the Holy Spirit is not God’s Angel -Gabriel - peace be upon him, and of their belief of the special incarnation of the Holy Spirit on Jesus Christ and the believers of his followers. In the conclusion come the findings that I have reached. God’s blessing and peace be upon our Apostle Mohammed and his followers.

The Behavior of The Prophet's Companions
Dr. Redha M. Al-Sanoosi
Abstract
The research is to focus on the behavior of the prophet’s companions (May God be pleased with them). They were the front line believers of the divine message of Islam and were eager to educate themselves by all means. They struggled hard to spread it.
The research highlights the definition of the Companions of prophet (May God be pleased with them) and the position of companions in Islam. It also contains some exemplary behaviors of the Companions, which we try to imitate in our lives.
In addition to that, this shows how the Companions were able to protect the prophet (May peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) and the religion from the enemies of Islam.
Besides, it gives an idea about the love and respect imparted by these companions to the Prophet Mohammed (May peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) and the struggle which they made with their soul and money for the sake of God.

The Pretext of the Companion’s declaration
with the Predecessors
Dr. Tarheeb R. AL-Dosary
Abstract
The idea of the research and its results :I mentioned that the science of the Origins of Jurisprudence has an honorable great matter. It is very useful because it is the science that collects true transferred and clear intelligible evidences.
I have introduced the companion lingual and idiomic and mentioned some of the companions’ merits in the Holy Quraan and in the Tradition.
I have introduced the companion lingually and idiomically and mentioned some of the companions merits in the Holy Quraan and in the Tradition.
I have explained that the companion’s saying is pretext with the predecessors, the companions, the successors and the Four imams and others who followed their way . And some scholars said the unanimity in that . The contradiction has appeared later . For example; the contradiction that happened in the protest of the syllogism although there was no contradiction between the scholar companions , the succeeds , their succeeds and the Four A’immah until it was adopted by phenomenalists (Al-Zahiriyyah) and who followed their way
Then I have reached very important results. The most important of these are:
1- The companions , the successors and the Four A’immah were to see the pretext of the companion's saying. Some of the scholars when they saw too much transferred from them , they said the unanimity in that.
2- The one who attributed to the Four imams or one of that they did not say the pretext of the companion’s saying did not edit it correctly
3- If the companion uttered saying and there was no contrary, that is saying the companion’s understanding and it is the truth.
4- The best researches in this are the research of the alimam Ibn Al-Kayim in his valuable book (A’alaam Al-Muwakeen , 4/118 -153) and al-A’alaa’ee Al-shafiee in his book,( Ijmal Al-Isaabah fi Aquaal Al-sahabah ) but the research of Ibn Al-Kayim is more prevailed than it.

Leader's Life as a Model and Exemplar
Dr. Ali H. Al-Qarni
Abstract
This research is mostly concerned with the role and importance of the model leader that our nation nowadays lacks in all fields of life. If this important role is activated in the same way as our religion orders; our situation would change to the desired one.
The research focuses on the leader as a member of one of the most influential groups in the society a group that represents a model to be imitated and an example to be followed. We mean here any leader in any realm, military or civilian, in which a person presides a group of people.
To begin with specific definition of the leader is given both from linguistic point of view and in every day usage. Also I explained the difference between the ideal person and the one that can represent a model or an example. To add clarity to the model concept, I tried to mark down the psychological basis of the imitation process. Then I showed the different kind of model persons, grouping them in two general categories : good models on whom the research focuses and bad models against whom it warns. Sources of good models giving are also explained, with emphasis on two important origins: nobility of character and compatibility between words and deeds. And to cope with the theme of the research, I stressed the leader's role as a good model figure, pointing out that every leader should take our prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) as his example. This chapter is concluded by a reference to the importance and influence of good model giving. The second chapter addressed an equally important role for the leader, namely the role he plays in missionary and contentment work. In this regard I first explained what the leader must do to prepare himself in terms of doctrinal purity, moral integrity and knowledge. This is followed by a definition of contentment from religious point of view and the person who practices this work, disapproving all sorts of social atrocities. The requirements of this disapproval, its step and the order in which atrocity is changed are all pointed out. Finally I mentioned the jurisprudence concerning contentment and the conditions in which a person can change atrocity by hear. Through the knowledge of these doctrinal principles; the leader becomes ready to carry out his vital role as an exemplar.
Then the research is concluded by some recommendations. I sincerely hope I have succeeded in giving a clear and comprehensible idea about this research. And may Allah the all Mighty guide us to the right path.

Advanced Convocation

Most of the scientists who asked for the Islamic Sharia regulations in Sudan on the age of the Kings of Fonj. Some of Fonj… were scientists with an Islamic tendency and they were dealing with the Islamic soul. That’s what makes them near from the correct Islam. In this duration, which the Islamic culture dominated all of Higaz and Sudan, this duration earmarked with the cultural ties between them.

& Influence of Construction
Abstract
Grammarians had divided the “Letter “to several divisions. Some of them divided into: mono. bilateral, trilateral, Quadrilateral and Quinquelateral. This is the same as Muradi had done in his “Al Gena”. Also, some grammarians divided it into “Pure “, does not act but only as letter and “Mutual “ that acts with nouns and verbs or with both parts. This is the same as Al Irbali had done in his “ Jawaher Al Adab”. Others divided it into “Amel” i.e word governing another and “Non-Amel” or both of them. This is the same as Al Malqi had done in his “Rasef Al Mabani”.
While the division of letter into Simple and Compound was not done to best of my knowledge except by Abu J-Hayyan in his “Irtishaf Al dhareb”, because the compound letter is contrary to the origin theme of letter. Therefore, this search will concentrate on compound Letters and its supporters even if there was one grammarian.

Issue of the Contestation in Linguistic Employment
Dr. Abu Saeed M. Abdulmajeed
Abstract
Verily this research aims to establishing the origin of some Arabic Syntactic rules through the most literary styles, bringing into light the importance of studying of Syntax as well as termination of some issues of disagreement concerning syntactic problems.
This research attempts to study the issue of the Contestation in Linguistic employment. It includes the concept of Contestation, its definition and two bases with conditions and comments on which of the two acts in case of Contestation. It also contains judgement of ellipsis in omitted word governing and a verity of word governing and passive element in style of the Contestation. The paper also includes the opinions of relevant scholars in the area of Contestation and makes detailed comments on those opinions.
The study has achieved results, more important of them are as follows: Naming of the Contestation is correct and appropriate, this is because all word governings demand passive elements for themselves in order to take away them from another, and to occupy it. The following are among the major finding of the present study emerged from one point the Contestation is a term of direction of two or more word governings to one or more passive element (s).
Certainly the school of Basra is easier and more superior to others in conformity with the Holy Qur’an completely.
The last part of the study deals with some recommendations. More important of them are: Since the chapter of Contestation is an original one, it is impossible to cancel it, as proposed by some modern scholars. For this it is better to cancel the Contestation in the verbs which become transitive to two objects or three, because these have neither been mentioned in the Qur'an nor in poems and statement of the Arabs.

The Art of Endorsement in Arabic Literature
Dr. Hamad N. al-Dikhayyil
Abstract
Endorsement (Arabic tawqii'), or giving official rulings on written messages, is a wel1-known genre in Arabic non-fictional prose. In modern terms, it is very much allied to the discipline of signing instructions on formal papers. However, in Arabic literary tradition, endorsement was expressed in the form of a verse from the Noble Qur'an, a line of poetry, a saying or a proverb cited by the Caliph or Vizier in response to a complaint, request or petition; and the content of the citation had to suit the issue being dealt with.
It has been noticed that this literary genre was not given the scholarly attention it should have gained despite the fact that it is of considerable importance.
Apart from the introduction, the paper deals with the origin of Arabic non fictional prose, since it underlies the art of endorsement as an intrinsic part of it. The paper also presents the major sources where a great many specimens of endorsement are found. Then the word endorsement is defined in accordance with its primary meaning as a general lexeme, and as a literary term unique to Arabic literature. Afterwards, the various types of endorsement are classified according to their sources. The paper has managed to identify the time during which the art of endorsement started. Exemplary citations of endorsement are given in chronological order: Islamic era, Umayyad era and then Abbasid era, the latter being the golden age, during which a special department (divan) was assigned to endorsement.
The paper comes out with a number of criteria that should be met when judging any type of endorsement. These include brevity, eloquence and persuasion.
Finally, the paper pinpoints the effect the art of endorsement has had on politics and literature. This is followed by a bibliographical note of the references used.

The Borrowed Mind : A Curricular Problem in
the Literary Criticism of Modern Arabic
-using psychological methodology as a model -
Dr. Saleh S. Al-Zahrani
Abstract
The paper tackles the problem of cultural exchange between Arabs and the West in modern times via a model of critical cultural exchange with emphases on psychological methodology in the literary criticism.
It contains a definition of culture and cultural exchange as well as a brief introduction to the movement of cultural exchange and its impact on the foundations of Arabic culture.
The paper discloses that curriculum, as an epistemological tool, does not deviate from its philosophical basis. This is evident in both conceptual and implementational grounds of psychological methodology. The peculiarity of cultural context imposes its concepts and methods of execution and methodology.
This phenomenon recurs concomitant with the recurrence of the context which makes the cultural exchange that lacks the awareness of such a peculiarity to be a device of destruction and a mere intellectual borrowing rather than a basis of construction and expansion of mutual awareness.

Sheikhul Islam Ibn Taimiah - may Allah's mercy be upon him- discussed in this booklet about the traits and Graciousness of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and Ali-May Allah be bleased to both of them
Dr. Abdul Aziz M. Al-Foraih
Abstract
All praises be to Allah and may all mercy and peace be upon Mohammad, the son of Abdullah. Sheikhul Islam Ibn Taimiah - may Allah's mercy be upon him- discussed in this booklet about the traits and graciousness of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Ali-May Allah be blessed to both of them. Here’s the abstract of the booklet:
1. There is difference between the traits in which Abu Bakr had no partner:
such as confirming the friendship for Abu Bakr- may Allah be pleased to him - if the Prophet (PBUH) had a friend. The Prophet (PBUH) also ordered Abu Bakr to lead the people in the prayer during his illness. Also the prophet gave him the leadership of the pilgrimage in order to establish the sunnah (the path of the prophet) and to abolish the jaheliyah (ignorance).
And between those virtues and traits which are common for him and for others. Such as the prophet said to Ali bin Abi Talib - may Allah be pleased to him -: " I am from you and you are from me ". The same speech was delivered to Julaibib - may Allah be pleased to him - who killed many infidels (unbelievers) : " This is from me and I am from him". And also the prophet told about Ashaariyeen : " They are from me and I am from them ".
2. There is no authentic hadith mentioning any traits of Ali bin Abi Talib - may Allah be pleased to him - which distinguishes him from Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. All that we found in this regard is either authentic but not giving a clear and obvious description, or clear and obvious but not authentic.
3. There are some authentic hadithes which mentioned the traits of Ali :
(a) "You are from me and I am from you"
(b) " You seemed to me as Harun seemed to Musa ".
(c) " I surely give the flag tomorrow to a man who loves Allah and His messenger, and Allah and His messenger love him too " .
These hadithes are authentic and clear in describing his traits but they don't mean that he is the best of the creatures, because the same traits and graciousness had been existed in the other companions of the Prophet (PBUH).
4. There are many authentic hadithes describing the traits of Abu Bakr, many of which distinguished him from the other companions. They showed that he is the best of this Muslim nation after the prophet (PBUH).

An Example of the Enhancement of Arab Journalism
By: Prof. Ibrahim A1-Samarrai
Abstract
The study investigates those words and structures which have found their way into the Modern Journalistic Arabic in the Arab East, and which violates, to certain extent, the normal Arabic grammar.
This study calls for the acceptance of such words and structures, and that our prescriptive tendencies in producing standard language should not bar us from their use and spread, as this phenomenon represents new Arabic and does not harm our language if we adopted it.
Journalists who do not have any linguistic appreciation that discriminates right from wrong have actually created this new language. One could also find such examples in other fields.
